  5. Thank you for downloading this LIGHT version of T4 TIMESAVER, the outstanding
  6. T4, T4A, and T5 preparation program produced by ELM Computer Systems Inc.

  8. We are pleased to offer T4 TIMESAVER to you ABSOLUTELY FREE, and ask only that
  9. you contact us so that you can obtain the authorization number which will
  10. remove the 'VOID INVALID' message that otherwise prints on all reports.

  17. INSTALLATION
  18. ===============================================================================

  20. To install T4 TIMESAVER on your computer you must first copy the following
  21. files on to a high density 3.5 inch or 5.25 inch floppy diskette:
  22.  
  23.      INSTALL.EXE   - The installation program
  24.      PKUNZIP.EXE   - Used by INSTALL.EXE to decompress the *.ZIP files
  25.      T4SYSTEM.ZIP  - Archive file containing T4 TIMESAVER as well as the
  26.                      Laser/Magnetic Media Module
  27.      T4LASER.DAT   - File to indicate to system that the Laser Module is
  28.                      present
  29.      T4UTIL.ZIP    - Various utilities that may come in handy if there is ever
  30.                      a problem

  32. Once this procedure is complete make the diskette drive containing the disk
  33. with the above files on it your default drive by typing A: (or B:) and hitting
  34. the ENTER key.  At the A:> prompt (or B:>) type the command INSTALL, hit the
  35. ENTER key, and follow the on screen prompts.  To obtain your authorization
  36. number please call ELM Computer Systems Inc. at 1-800-268-3211 (toll free) or
  37. at 416-495-1624 if you are in the Toronto calling area.

  41. PURCHASING AND UPDATING

  44. This LIGHT version of T4 TIMESAVER is free for you to use for this taxation
  45. year and is limited only in the following aspects:
  46.  
  47.      - The maximum number of employers that may be entered is three
  48.      - The maximum number of employees for each employer is fifteen
  49.      - The Adjustment and Unadjust reports have been disabled, only the
  50.        Discrepancy report (which reports potential over/under payments for UI
  51.        and CPP/QPP is available in this version
  52.  
  53. If you wish to use our Laser/Magnetic Media module (included with this version)
  54. to produce facsimile forms we also supply the blue and pink paper required by
  55. Revenue Canada, Taxation at the following prices:
  56.  
  57.      - Perforated - copies 2/3 of supplementaries                       $ 22.00
  58.      - Plain - copies 1/4 of supplementaries, all copies of  summaries  $ 12.00
  59.  
  60. When the 1995 version of T4 TIMESAVER becomes available (mid December of 1995)
  61. you will receive an update notice allowing you to order the new version of T4
  62. TIMESAVER LIGHT for only $ 50.00.  You will be able at that time to renew your
  63. license to use the LIGHT version or upgrade from the LIGHT version to the full
  64. featured version of T4 TIMESAVER at our upgrade price (approximately $ 95.00
  65. for the system and $ 50.00 for the Laser/Magnetic Media module).
